Anonymous asked: Hi sorry to be creepy but I remember seeing a picture of you in a really cute red mac with turned up sleeves. I was just wondering where it was from? Topshop recently had a green one but it has sold out and my heart is BREAKING xx
hey that’s okay! if it’s the one i’m thinking of, it’s not really a mac as it’s not waterproof, but it’s from a charity shop i’m afraid. i think it’s an old bon marche one haha! sorry i couldn’t be more helpful x

i’m trying to concentrate on getting some work done but i’m just over-excited about everything (hanging out with the rats, seeing durham pals on the weekend, going away at easter, summer etc). also, i may not be organised in many aspects of my life but this semester i’ve been super strict about organising university work for myself. i basically have five notebooks on the go - one big one with 6 sections for my lecture notes for each module, one for my reading notes for two semi-related modules, one for my reading notes for two other semi-related modules, one for my ethics elective module and one tiny one for miscellaneous thing like presentation notes or assessment details or to-do lists (and i’m almost finished my first of the tiny ones for the semester). and then i have a diary which i’m pretty meticulous about using, and a folder with journal articles in it. it works for me though, but i’m interested, how do other people organise their uni things?

Anonymous asked: talk us through everything you did today?
(this was from the other night when i asked for messages, but i couldn’t answer it properly cos i was on my phone, this is also going to be very boring)
woke up at 10ish, had some breakfast, re-dyed my fringe, had a shower.
got ready really slowly, read some shitty thoughtcatalog articles which had lifted ‘spooky’ stories from reddit. re-heated some rice and curry sauce for my lunch. jumped on a bus to university.
went to a lecture about drug addiction, sat about in the union for a bit, went and participated in a study about itchiness. (side note - on the way to said study, i overheard the most hilarious conversation. this boy and girl were sat on the wall outside the students’ union, the girl looked very uncomfortable. the boy said ‘i just miss you so much’, the girl said ‘i know, i miss you too’. the boy then paused for a moment before saying ‘and i love you still’ and all i heard was the girl saying ‘ah…’)
went and met my pals at the terrace, hung about there for a bit, went to an ethics lecture about organ donation.
got the bus into headingley, went to sainsburys, bought some pitta bread, mushy peas and beans. walked home. put my tea in the oven, fed the rats, opened an asos parcel containing some amazing pom pom socks.
now i’m having a cup of tea and catching up on this american life while i wait for my tea to cook, then i’ll watch some netflix whilst i do some work, then play with the rats before bed.
today was a very very standard day (or i’m suuuper dull, sorry)
